Su Sun is a Managing Director with Secretariat Economists in Washington, DC. Dr. Sun specializes in economic analysis in antitrust and intellectual property matters. His antitrust experience includes economic analysis in merger review, price fixing, and abuse of dominance cases. His IP experience includes economic analysis and damages calculation in patent, copyright, trademark and trade secret cases. Dr. Sun has particular expertise and experience in China’s antitrust and IP matters. He has worked extensively on cases before Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), State Administration of Industry and Commerce (SAIC), and State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR). He has also submitted expert reports and testified in a number of antitrust and IP cases before several Chinese courts.
While at the University of Michigan, Dr. Sun taught economics at both the undergraduate level and the MBA level. He has also taught antitrust economics at Renmin University of China.
Dr. Sun is currently a Senior Editor of the Antitrust Law Journal, an Associate Editor of the China Antitrust Law Journal, a member of the Chinese Economists Society, a member of the Licensing Executives Society, and an advisor to College of Management and Economics of Tianjin University in China.
