Jeremy Wegener is an Associate Director at Secretariat. Mr. Wegener has over seven years of professional experience working with EPC contractors, owners, and subcontractors on upstream and downstream claims.
Mr. Wegener has worked closely with clients to perform forensic schedule analyses, prepare and evaluate disruption claims, and quantify damages related to scope growth, design changes, productivity impacts, and project delays. He has also provided expert testimony in litigation settings through his pro bono work with the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation.
Mr. Wegener’s experience has primarily focused on combined-cycle plants, industrial projects, and water distribution facilities. Mr. Wegener has also worked on claims and disputes relating to the nuclear, solar, mining, education, and healthcare industries. These disputes relate to projects in a variety of locations, including Canada, Central America, the Middle East, and across the United States. Throughout his engagements, Mr. Wegener has supported clients in a variety of dispute resolution formats, including mediations, dispute review boards, international arbitrations, and federal proceedings.
Mr. Wegener has previously gained practical experience advising clients during the planning, execution, and closeout of major capital projects. Mr. Wegener has provided guidance on schedule forecasts and contemporaneous reporting of impacts to a project. This experience in an advisory role allows Mr. Wegener to bring real-world perspectives to his analysis. He holds a Planning & Scheduling Professional certification from the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering.
