John-Luke Edwards has a diverse work experience. John-Luke started their career at Roke Manor Research Limited in 2014 as a Graduate Engineer and progressed to being a Senior Engineer by November 2017. During their time there, they worked on both secret and non-secret projects, with a budget of up to £2M per year. John-Luke gained experience in programming using various languages and methodologies. In 2018, they joined Fidessa as a Client Developer and worked there until September 2019. Currently, John-Luke is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Secondmind, starting in July 2022.

John-Luke Edwards attended St. John's School and Community College from 2001 to 2009. John-Luke then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering at the University of Southampton from 2010 to 2014. In 2019, they furthered their education by pursuing a degree in Machine Learning and Autonomous Systems at the University of Bath, which they completed in 2020.
