Alon Shalita is an accomplished technology leader and co-founder of Second Nature, where responsibilities include leading research and development and shaping the company's technology vision since October 2018. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Facebook from June 2010 to September 2017, where Alon founded and led the Algorithmic Optimization team and contributed to the Machine Learning team. Prior roles include senior software engineer positions at VMware and as a DevOps engineer during studies at Tel Aviv University, along with service as a tech lead software engineer in the Israel Defense Forces. Alon holds an M.Sc. and a B.Sc. in Computer Sciences from Tel Aviv University.
