Annissa Zynda currently serves as the Compliance Lead at Second Harvest Heartland, where responsibilities include the design and implementation of compliance processes to enhance service quality and maintain audit readiness within the emergency food system. Previous roles at Second Harvest Heartland include Agency Compliance Specialist and Agency Services Coordinator, contributing to the health of the agency partner network. Prior experience includes positions at Omaha Public Schools as an Education Assistant and Food Bank for the Heartland as a Capacity-Building Coordinator, where Annissa worked to strengthen local food pantries and community services. Additional experience involves tutoring with Minnesota Math Corps and contributing to environmental conservation projects with Conservation Corps Minnesota & Iowa. Annissa is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, holding a Bachelor of Science in Agronomy and Crop Science.
