Philippe Wetzel has a diverse work experience in the engineering industry. Philippe worked as the COO of Seco Group, where they provided assessment and audit expertise in engineering services and construction works. Prior to that, they served as the Head of department for Sales & Project Management at Paul Wurth, an engineering company specializing in iron making and buildings. Additionally, they worked as an Engineer & Project Manager at Josef Gartner & Co.

Philippe Wetzel attended Lycée Michel Rodange from 1986 to 1992, where they pursued their Etudes secondaires - section B, with a focus on mathematics, science, and languages. Philippe then attended RWTH Aachen University from 1992 to 1998, earning a Dipl Ing in Civil Engineering. In 2006, Philippe briefly attended ESCP-EAP, focusing on Business unit management.
