Landon Kohtz is a Mechanical Design Engineer at Sebright Products, Inc., and also operates as the Owner and Pilot for Michigan Scenic Ballooning, a private hot air balloon ride service since May 2022. Landon gained experience as a Manufacturing Quality Engineering Intern at Autocam Medical, where responsibilities included working with CNC mills and lathes, ordering custom tooling, and developing an Excel VBA inventory tool. Previous roles include serving as the Computer Aided Design Manager for Formula SAE MTU, overseeing the top level assembly and maintaining the BOM, and as a Quality Engineering Intern at Viking Group Inc., focusing on quality check improvements and electronic data collection tools. Additional experience includes general labor at Starr Lawn and Garden and mechanical design for FIRST Robotics Team 6090. Landon holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, completed in 2022.
