Dennis Robinson Jr. serves as the Director of Programs & Partnerships at Seattle Opera since June 2022, following a diverse career in stage direction and artistic administration. Self-employed since 2007, Dennis has directed numerous productions across various opera companies and festivals, including Pittsburgh Festival Opera and Boston Lyric Opera. Previous roles include Manager of Artistic Administration at Palm Beach Opera, Director of School Musical at Pittsburgh Public Schools, and Director of Education & Accessibility at City Theatre Company. Dennis has also made contributions to community programs at Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and worked as an Emergency Medical Technician. Educationally, Dennis holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Opera Directing from Carnegie Mellon University.
