Brian Simpson is currently a Senior Engineer at Seattle Opera. Prior to that, they were a Tier 2 Support Engineer with Advanced Business Solutions, providing desktop, server, and networking support to a variety of industries. Brian also spent three years as a Lead Architect Tester with CenturyLink, testing services and features on Broadsoft SIP VoIP platform. Brian has also worked with a number of vendors, including Cisco, Broadsoft, Adtran, MetaSwitch, and Polycom, to resolve more complex issues and root cause analysis.

Brian Simpson has completed a Front End Web Development course at Code Louisville, and has also completed an online course in SSVVP (Networking 4 Voice and Video over IP) through The SIP School. Brian has also gained experience in telecommunications through School of On Job Training. Brian is certified in SSVVP from The SIP School, Adtran ATSA for IPBG from ADTRAN, and Digium Certified Asterisk Administrator from Digium. Brian also has a CompTIA Network+ certification from CompTIA.
