J. Derrick Lund

Principal Audio Visual Systems Architect at Seattle Children's Healthcare System

J. Derrick Lund, CTS-D, has over two decades of experience in audio-visual systems design and integration, currently serving as Principal AV Systems Architect at Seattle Children's since November 2005. Lund leads a team focused on the design and installation of AV systems organization-wide, while also developing equipment and system standards. Prior roles include Audio/Video - Telemedicine Engineer at Seattle Children's, where significant contributions included the establishment of a design and installation team and collaboration with architects on infrastructure projects. Early career positions include Sound Recording Engineer at Real Networks, Senior AV Technician at Seattle Marriott Waterfront, and Studio Manager/Lead Sound Engineer at Books In Motion, complemented by various internships in audio and video production. Lund holds a CTS-D certification in AV System Design from InfoComm International.
