Yael Schwartz, PhD, possesses extensive experience in the fields of dermatology and biotechnology, currently serving as the Scientific Advisor for Seaspire Skincare since April 2019 and as the President and CEO of Or-Genix Therapeutics, Inc. since May 2015. With a notable background on various advisory boards, including the Venture Forum and the Scientific Advisory Board at Cantabria Labs Spain, Schwartz has contributed significantly to the entrepreneurial community and scientific advancements in dermatological products. Previous roles include Executive VP of Preclinical Development at RestorGenex and President & CEO of Canterbury Laboratories, as well as Founding CEO of Hygeia Therapeutics. Schwartz's educational qualifications include dual PhDs in Physiology/Biotechnology and Endocrine and General Physiology from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and UMass Chan Medical School, respectively, along with multiple degrees in pharmacology, toxicology, health counseling, and psychology.
