Sean Terry has a diverse work experience in the technology field. Sean started their career as a Data Processing Manager at Replacement Parts, Inc. in 1999, where they implemented a document imaging system and developed reporting applications. Sean then worked as an independent contractor, providing database and network administration services, and designing websites for clients. In 2007, Sean worked as an Application Developer at Navigator Telecommunications. Sean later returned to Replacement Parts, Inc. as a Database Developer, where they designed and developed a central data repository and automated pricing and shipping notifications. As an independent contractor, Sean provided business process analysis and database administration services to clients, and developed business intelligence components using various technologies. From 2010 to 2014, they served as a Technical Lead at Rock City Data Group, overseeing the company's technology resources and providing consultation to clients. Since 2014, Sean has been working at SEAS Education, where they have held various roles, including Lead Database Administrator, Director of Cloud Operations & .NET Development, and currently as Vice President of Technology. In their roles at SEAS Education, Sean has been involved in building complex custom projects, directing systems reliability engineering efforts, and consolidating resources to Amazon Web Services.
Sean Terry attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock from 2001 to 2005, where they studied Information Science. During their education, they did not obtain a specific degree. Additionally, Sean Terry has obtained several certifications from Microsoft. In 2010, they became a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) in SQL Server 2008, Business Intelligence Development and Maintenance. In 2011, they obtained another MCTS certification in SQL Server 2008 Installation and Maintenance. Sean'smost recent certification was the Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) in SQL Server 2008, which they obtained in April 2012.
