Sonny Pasiona is an experienced professional specializing in development communication and program management, currently serving as a Program Specialist at the Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA) since February 2019. Pasiona has managed local and international partnerships in Southeast Asian agriculture, led the #Y4AGRI program focused on youth empowerment, and previously held various roles including Supervising Science Research Specialist at DOST-Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, Development Communication Specialist at Central Bicol State University of Agriculture, and Communications Specialist at the Philippine Rice Research Institute. Pasiona holds a Master of Science in Development Management and Governance and a Bachelor of Science in Development Communication, along with experience in multimedia and strategic communication initiatives for developmental projects.
