Michael Johnson has worked in a variety of roles since 2012. Michael began their career at CashSavers as a Cashier, Bagger, Produce Manager, and Stock. Michael then worked as a Cabling Apprentice at AtoZ, Bowling Ally Manager and League Organizer at Holder Family Fun Center, Server at Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen, and Hospital Corpsman and Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor at the US Navy. Currently, they are employed at Sealing Technologies Inc. as a Program Manager.

Michael Johnson graduated from Purdue University Global in 2020 with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Michael then pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from The Catholic University of America, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
