Abby Cutting-Smith is an experienced environmental professional with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Montana State University. Currently serving as an Environmental Professional II at Sealaska, Abby focuses on fieldwork that includes collecting groundwater samples and preparing monthly Field Summary Reports. In addition, Abby works as a substitute teacher for Los Alamos Public Schools, instructing K-12 students across various subjects. Previous roles include significant experience in conservation and hydrology with organizations such as the Montana Conservation Corps and the U.S. Forest Service, where Abby developed skills in ecological data management and hydrologic analysis. Additional experience in diverse roles ranges from work study positions at Yellowstone Ecological Research Center and Museum Of The Rockies to hands-on internships in farming and carpentry.
