Samantha Serra, MFAcc, has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Samantha started their career at AMERICAN TELNET, INC as a Staff Accountant in 1996 and worked their way up to become the Financial Accounting Manager. In 2000, they joined AMERICAN CLASSIC VOYAGES as an Accounting Manager.

In 2001, Samantha joined GENERAL ELECTRIC - GE SECURITY as an Accounting Manager, where they successfully managed three departments and implemented process improvements to streamline the monthly close process. Samantha also developed an automated system for journal entries and templates. Samantha stayed with GENERAL ELECTRIC - GE SECURITY until 2010 before moving on to UTC Climate, Controls & Security as a Controller.

Samantha joined Keiser University in 2009 as a Faculty member and contributed to the academic development of the institution until 2015. In 2017, they joined Aid To Victims Of Domestic Inc as a Senior Financial Analyst. Samantha provided strategic financial analysis and support to the organization.

Currently, Samantha is working at Seal Shieldâ„¢, starting as the Assistant Controller in 2022 and quickly advancing to the position of Controller in 2023.

Samantha Serra, MFAcc holds a Master's degree in Forensic Accounting from Florida Atlantic University, which they obtained in 2006. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Siena College in 1996. In addition to their formal education, Samantha has also obtained certifications in "Communicating with Emotional Intelligence" and "Mistakes to Avoid When Resolving Conflict" from LinkedIn, which were obtained in September 2022.
