Jason Batters is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the Functional IT Manager for Operations at Seadrill since April 2015, focusing on HSSEQ, Supply Chain, and Technical areas. Batters began at Seadrill as the Functional MI Manager for Management Information, Commercial, and QHSE. Prior to Seadrill, Batters worked at British Gas from November 2008 to April 2015 in various roles, including Head of MI for CHI, Electrical Services, and Dyno, and contributed to the MI Leadership team. Earlier experience includes a position as MI Manager at Allied Bakeries from 2005 to 2008, where Batters introduced SQL Server technology and developed integration solutions. Jason Batters holds a 2:1 degree in Applied Computer Technologies from Liverpool John Moores University and has completed studies in Maths, Computing, Sports Studies, and General Studies at Birkenhead 6th Form, along with earning 10 GCSEs from Indefatigable in Wales.
