Evan Kaufman

Robot Software Engineer at Scythe Robotics

Evan Kaufman has an extensive work history in robotics, engineering, and research. In 2011, they began their career as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Air Products and Chemicals. Evan also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Bucknell University that same year. In 2012, they became a Teaching Assistant at The George Washington University and a PhD Student at the same institution. In 2013, they were a PhD Student and Researcher at the Air Force Research Laboratory. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as a Senior Robotics Engineer at Robotic Research LLC. In 2021, they co-founded Sterling Coffee Company and currently works as a Robot Software Engineer at Scythe Robotics.

Evan Kaufman obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Bucknell University between 2008 and 2012. Evan then furthered their education by earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from The George Washington University between 2012 and 2018.
