Tomer Sandler has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Tomer started their career in the Israeli Military Intelligence as an Airborne Intelligence officer from 1996 to 1999. Tomer then worked at Eurocom Marketing Limited as a CRM Project Leader in the IT department from 2002 to 2005.
Tomer joined Exanet, a company developing high-performance clustered NAS storage solutions, as a Software Quality Engineer from 2005 to 2007. Tomer was responsible for planning and performing software tests and had expertise in High Availability, Load & Stress testing, Disaster Recovery, and various file systems.
From 2007 to 2008, Tomer worked at EMC | nLayers, a company developing network discovery and mapping applications. Tomer served as a Software Quality Engineer, leading two offshore QA engineers and conducting software tests in Linux and Windows environments.
Tomer then joined Verint's Security Intelligence Division in 2008 and worked as a Senior Software Quality Engineer. Tomer acted as the product Subject Matter Expert and Tech Lead, leading the product's quality from the design stage to customer onsite delivery.
In 2012, Tomer joined Dell EMC as a QE Architect (Tech Lead) in the Server Flash BU. Tomer introduced structured testing methodologies and led the end-to-end quality aspects for the XtremSW Cache product.
At Dell EMC ScaleIO from 2013 to 2017, Tomer held multiple roles. Tomer first worked as a QA Team Lead, leading a team of six QA engineers responsible for testing various components of the ScaleIO storage product. Later, they became the QA Delivery Group Lead and Manager, leading a group of 10 people in two teams of QA Engineers and Information Developers. Tomer also served as the OpenStack Project Manager, overseeing ScaleIO's OpenStack support activities and supporting the company's Free & Friction-less install base community.
Since 2017, Tomer has been working at ScyllaDB. Tomer started as a Solutions Architect, where they focused on making the company's product great and promoting it globally through customer engagements, proof of concepts, and technical blogs. Tomer then transitioned into the role of a Technical Customer Success Manager, responsible for ensuring customer success and providing technical support. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Customer Success and TAM, leading the customer success team and providing technical account management services.
