Thomas Barkworth-Knight CEng MIMechE is an experienced engineering professional with a background in mechanical design and project management. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering at Kinetic Solutions Group since February 2022, Thomas has held various roles including Mechanical Design Manager and Senior Mechanical Design Engineer. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Primetals Technologies as a Senior Design Engineer, where Thomas contributed to the design of hot and cold plate mills. Additional positions include Senior Designer/Design Manager at Production Park, focusing on mechanical design for major touring stage productions, and Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at DavyMarkham Limited, specializing in heavy-duty engineering. Thomas also managed projects at Palamatic and held design roles at Chesterfield Special Cylinders and Alternative Access Logistics. Academic qualifications include a BSc in Computer Aided Design Technology from Sheffield Hallam University.
