Vega Glow has been self-employed since 2015, working as a freelance blogger. In 2016, they began working as a content writer for Scripted. Prior to that, they were involved with the Women's Worth Writers Club at Vance-Granville Community College, beginning in 2008.

Vega Glow attended Full Sail University from 2020 to 2022, earning a Creative Writing Bachelor's of Fine Arts Degree in the field of Creative Writing. In 2021, Vega Glow obtained four certifications from LinkedIn: Content Marketing: Blogging for Business, Writing a Compelling Blog Post, Building Professional Relationships, and Professional Networking. In 2023, Vega Glow obtained a certification in Lighting Design for Video Productions from LinkedIn.
