Henry van Megen has a long and varied work experience. Henry began their career in 1996 as the Founder of QMP Media. In 2008, they moved to Focus Cura as a Developer and Network Administrator. In 2010, they became the Chief Technical Architect at Cura Bewindvoering, where they were responsible for full infra design, setup, and support. In 2013, they joined Jaagers as a Developer and DevOps Engineer/System Administrator. In 2012, they became the Lead Developer and DevOps Engineer at Media4company. In 2015, they moved to iXL Hosting and HostingXS as a System Engineer. Henry was also the Ex-Owner and Founder of Mistral Dynamics from 2016 to 2019, and in 2019 they joined team.blue as a System Engineer. Currently, they are an Infrastructure Engineer at ScreenPoint Medical, where they are responsible for the maintenance of the Linux workstations, servers, network infrastructure, and their GPU cluster.
Henry van Megen began their education in 1991 when they attended Canisius College in Nijmegen, The Netherlands, where they completed their high school degree. In 1996, they moved on to Technisch College Ede, where they studied Information Technology. From 2006 to 2008, they attended Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen (HAN) and obtained a Foundation degree in Communcation & Multimedia Design. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Professional Scrum Master from Scrum.org in November 2016, Linux+ from CompTIA in January 2006, MCP (System Administration) for Windows 2000 from Microsoft in May 2001, A+ from CompTIA in January 2000, and Network+ from CompTIA in January 2000.
