Colin is currently serving as the Interim Director of Compliance at Scratch Financial, where they provide compliance leadership to the company. Prior to this, they worked as an Attorney & Advisor at GwC and founded their own company, Colin Darke Solutions, where they served as the CEO.

Before entering the finance industry, Colin was known for their artistic talents. Colin gained international recognition as an Artist and Illustrator through their ambidextrous art, which involves using both hands equally well to create artwork. Colin'swork has garnered a significant following on social media and has caught the attention of celebrities.

Throughout their career, Colin has held leadership positions in various organizations. Colin served as the Chief Compliance Officer and General Counsel at Rocket Loans, where they were responsible for leading compliance, legal, servicing, operations, marketing, and technology teams. Colin was also the Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board at OLPI, a nonprofit public policy organization focused on responsible innovation in online lending.

Colin started their career as an Associate General Counsel and Vice President at Flagstar Bank, providing legal support for its community banking business. Colin Darke has a diverse education history. Colin first attended Grosse Pointe South from 1992 to 1996, where they studied Fine/Studio Arts, General. Following this, they attended Western Michigan University from 1996 to 2001, earning a B.F.A. degree in Fine Arts. Colin then pursued a J.D. degree in Law at Michigan State University College of Law from 2001 to 2004. During this time, they obtained several certifications, including an Intellectual Property Concentration Certification and a Trial Practice Institute Certificate Program. After completing their J.D., Colin continued their education at Boston University School of Law from 2006 to 2008, where they earned an LL.M. degree in Banking and Financial Law. In terms of additional certifications, Colin obtained a Leadership System Certification from The Leadership Circle in July 2018. Colin also achieved admission to practice law in Illinois in 2004, Michigan in 2005, and Massachusetts in 2006, indicating successful completion of the bar exam in each state.
