Terry Nelson has extensive work experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry. They currently work at scPharmaceuticals as a Cardiac Account Manager, where they contribute to improving the lives of patients with congestive heart failure using a disruptive new product. Prior to this, Terry worked as an Independent Medical Sales Contractor and held the role of Senior Executive Sales Representative. They also worked at Amarin Corporation as a Sales Professional. Terry's longest tenure was at GSK, where they held the role of Senior Executive Sales Representative and Senior Executive Pharmaceutical Consultant. They achieved several awards and recognition for their outstanding performance and represented the top 2% of all representatives employed by GSK. Terry began their career at HealthSouth/Living Centers of America as the Director of Sales and Marketing/Regional Manager, where they successfully managed marketing, business development, and operations for several clinics and assisted living centers.

Terry Nelson obtained a Master's degree in Exercise Physiology from The University of Southern Mississippi in an unknown year prior to 1991. From 2017 to 2018, Terry Nelson pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology at The University of Southern Mississippi.
