Ivan Hernandez is a seasoned Directional Driller with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently working at Scout Drilling Technologies since June 2019 and previously at Schlumberger for 15 years. Expertise includes drilling a variety of well types such as J, S, and horizontal wells across several basins including the Permian, Haynesville, and Barnett. Proficient in advanced drilling tools like RSS and MWD/LWD technology, Ivan also has a strong background in drilling engineering management, having led teams to ensure high-quality drilling proposals and successful execution. Ivan holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Industrial Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey and has participated in an international exchange program at the University of New Mexico School of Engineering.
