Sarah A. serves as the Director of Policy for the Scottish Prison Service, contributing to the executive leadership team. With extensive experience in various roles within the organization, Sarah has led significant projects, including the major capital investment initiative for HMP Glasgow, expected to be operational by 2026. Prior positions include Branch Head, Head of Offender Outcomes, Head of Corporate Planning and Performance, and Psychologist roles across multiple establishments, showcasing a strong background in psychology and offender-focused interventions. In addition, Sarah holds a Non Executive Director position at Climate Explorers CIC and has served as an Academic Supervisor at Cardiff Metropolitan University, guiding forensic psychology trainees. Academic qualifications include an Executive MBA from The University of Edinburgh and multiple degrees in psychology from Glasgow Caledonian University.
