Gareth Rose is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in political reporting and editorial roles. Currently serving as Head of Communications for the Scottish Prison Service since May 2022, Gareth previously held positions as Scottish Political Editor for the Mail on Sunday from August 2016 to May 2022, and as Scottish Political Reporter for the Daily Mail from March 2014 to August 2016. Earlier in the career, Gareth worked as Home Affairs Correspondent for The Scotsman and Scotland on Sunday from March 2010 to March 2014, building a robust foundation in journalism and media communications.
