Richard Goudie is a seasoned communications and network engineer with a robust background in the fire service sector. Currently serving as a Senior Communications/Network Engineer at Scottish Fire & Rescue since April 2013, Richard possesses extensive knowledge of Cisco technologies, including design, administration, and support of voice and data communications systems. Richard has demonstrated expertise in managing Quality of Service (QoS) within Cisco networks, as well as hands-on technical skills in VoIP, routing, and switching technologies. Prior to this role, Richard contributed as a Senior Communications Engineer at Strathclyde Fire & Rescue from February 2000 to April 2013, further solidifying a strong foundation in communications engineering and systems management.
