Russ Turner has over 17 years of experience in the utility arboriculture sector, currently serving as Resource and Scheduling Manager at Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks since September 2006. In various roles including Utility Arb Performance Manager and Finance & Logistics Performance Manager, Russ was instrumental in establishing a new area of network cutting and implementing enhanced cutting cycles to address environmental concerns. Previous experience includes managing surveys and cutting operations for overhead power lines as Utility Arb Field Manager, and supervising teams at Bartlett Tree Experts as Lead Climber/Chargehand. Russ holds multiple qualifications in chainsaw operations and utility arboriculture, as well as a certificate in arboriculture from Plumpton College and an NVQ in horticulture from Brinsbury College.
