Andrew Carr is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in engineering and consultancy. Currently serving as Principal Engineer, Solutions Architect, and Head of Consultancy at Scott Logic since June 2016, Andrew has previously held significant roles, including Managing Director at claritize, where an Apache Spark and Cassandra-based anomaly and trend identification tool was co-founded, and Co-Founder at thinking bob, a social events company. Andrew's earlier roles include Executive Director at Goldman Sachs, CTO at Adtimize Limited, and co-founder and CTO at Calltracks, where a pioneering Java-based call tracking system was developed. Andrew's career also includes positions at Citigroup and EADS, alongside a solid educational foundation with a BSc in Computer Science from Newcastle University.
