Zachary McCollum

Public Safety Dispatcher at Scott County Sheriff

Zachary McCollum has extensive experience in public safety and military service. Since February 2017, Zachary has worked as a Correctional Officer at Greene County Sheriff's Office, initially part-time and transitioning to full-time in October 2018. Concurrently, Zachary serves as a Public Safety Dispatcher for both the White Hall, Illinois Police Department and Scott County Sheriff, where responsibilities include receiving calls and dispatching emergency services. Prior to these roles, Zachary served in the US Marine Corps as an Aviation Electrician Technician for five years, focusing on the repair and calibration of avionics systems for the AV-8B Harrier and supporting Operation Inherent Resolve. Zachary began a career in sales as an Aftermarket Diesel Parts Salesman at Crossroads Truck Equipment before joining the military. Zachary graduated from North Greene High School in 2007.
