Tom Harvey is an experienced professional in property treaty underwriting and risk assessment, currently serving as a Senior Property Treaty Underwriter at SCOR since August 2021. Prior to this role, Tom worked at Gen Re as a Property Treaty Underwriter and focused on the underwriting of property treaty business across Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands, expanding into the wider Asia region. Tom's earlier experience includes serving as Assistant Vice President - Treaty Broking at Guy Carpenter, where model development for natural disaster impact was a key responsibility. Additionally, Tom has held roles as Project Director at Mining Hive, Geologist & GIS Consultant for various exploration mining companies, and Proprietor of Fuel Advance, which specialized in web development. Tom holds a Certificate IV in General Insurance from ANZIIF and a B. Sc. (Hons) in Geology & Geophysics from the University of Sydney.
