Femi Adewale has worked in the Information Technology field since 2011. In 2011, they were a Windows System Administrator at GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Plc., where they were responsible for system configuration, network/communications related incidents, routing checks, setting up user accounts with active directory, maintaining network/communications related equipment, managing daily, weekly, and monthly backups, printers installation and networking printing support, mobile devices support and configuration, filing and documentation of office documents, and backup reports. In 2012, they served in the military as a Windows System Administrator, providing help desk support, troubleshooting desktops and laptops, installing and configuring Windows Server, installing and configuring Windows applications and active directory, setting up users and accounts in active directory, performance monitoring and tuning, alert log and backup monitoring, and installation and support of network printers. In 2016, they worked as an Information Technology Field Researcher at GREYFIELD CONSULTANCY SERVICES LIMITED, conducting research related to internet of things, collecting data in local markets, and conveying information in written reports. From 2018 to 2020, they were a Linux System Administrator at Digitastic.plus, where they were responsible for installation and configuration of Linux systems and web servers, load balancers and databases for organization-wide deployment, patching of operating systems for fixing system vulnerability and installing system upgrades, and providing end user support during on/off hours to resolve client support requests and work with development team to ensure success of automated builds and deployments using Rundeck. In 2020, they began working as a Junior Devops Engineer at Scopic Software.

Femi Adewale obtained a Master's degree in Information Technology from Eastern Mediterranean University between 2015 and 2016. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Computer Engineering from Covenant University between 2007 and 2012. Femi also holds certifications from Linux Academy, Oracle, Cisco, Linux Professional Institute, and Amazon Web Services (AWS). These certifications include Implementing a full CI/CD pipeline (obtained in June 2020), Structural Query Language (SQL) + Certification Training Program (obtained in October 2014), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) (obtained in March 2011), Certified Linux Administrator (LPIC-1) (obtained in January 2020), and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (obtained in August 2021).
