Jack Phifer has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Their most recent position is as Co-Founder and CEO of Scope Labs, starting in 2023. Prior to that, they co-founded Finary, a social investing platform, in 2020 and remained in the role of Co-Founder until 2023.

Additionally, Jack has gained experience as a Software Engineer Intern at Arq Advisors LLC in 2020, as a Software Engineering Extern at Nasdaq from December 2019 to February 2020, and as a Software Engineering Intern at Data Intelligence Technologies, Inc. from June 2019 to December 2019.

Furthermore, they worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) from January 2019 to July 2019.

Lastly, Jack co-founded Sunshine State Textbooks LLC during their freshman year in high school, where they served as Co-Founder and Owner until June 2019. The company grew to include 21 paid employees during their four years of high school.

Jack Phifer completed their high school education, earning a High School Diploma, in 2018 at Berkeley Preparatory School. Afterward, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2018 to 2021. Currently, Jack is participating in the Winter '21 Batch at Y Combinator, where they are engaged in further educational opportunities.
