Janine Slootmaekers is currently the Clusterdirecteur at SARO - Samen Ambitieus Rotterdams Onderwijs since May 2024, and serves as a bestuurslid for Stichting Zwerfjongeren Nederland, Stichting Het Bouwdepot, and as a member of the raad van toezicht for both Primo Schiedam and SCO Delft e.o. Previously, Janine held the position of Directeur Onderwijs & Kwaliteit at Techniek College Rotterdam from June 2022 to May 2024 and acted as bestuurslid for the Consortium Beroepsonderwijs. In a transitional role from 2020 to 2022, Janine worked as onderwijsdirecteur at Hoger Onderwijs Drechtsteden. From 2007 to 2020, Janine's tenure at Hogeschool Rotterdam encompassed multiple roles, including onderwijsmanager en adviseur directie. Janine is also the founder of Fietsmarktplein, an online platform for bicycles. Janine's educational background includes a Master of Science in Teaching and learning in higher education from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and various leadership and governance trainings.
