Chris Overdorf, ASLA PLA, is a Principal Landscape Architect and Planner at SCJ Alliance since March 2019, focusing on civil engineering, urban planning, and public outreach across the Western United States. Prior to this role, Chris founded contour nw landscape architects + planners, providing specialized services from a remote studio on Vashon Island. With extensive experience at ELM | Ervin Lovett Miller as a Planner, Landscape Architect, and Geospatial Analyst, and previous positions including Principal at Jones & Jones Architects & Landscape Architects, Chris has contributed to various sectors such as healthcare, hospitality, and municipal planning. Chris's career began in landscape design, having also worked in technology as VP of Product Development at Tour Graphics. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from Washington State University and attendance at the United States Military Academy at West Point.
