Bryant Wong has extensive work experience spanning over three decades. Bryant began their career as a Business Consultant at ASIAN, Inc., where they provided financial and technical assistance to small and minority-owned businesses. Bryant also developed and implemented a computer database management system to streamline operations.
Wong then joined the SAN FRANCISCO REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY as a Senior Accountant, where they administered and serviced a $4 million business loan portfolio. Bryant also implemented a computer database management system to improve accuracy and billing efficiency.
Afterward, Wong worked as a Manager at Deloitte Consulting, where they managed the development of business process reengineering and technology systems proposals, generating over $20 million in revenue. Bryant also led consulting teams through the systems development lifecycle and managed a $8 million information technology project.
Wong's next role was with Tradenable, Inc., where they served as the Founding Director/VP Finance. Bryant provided executive leadership and managed the firm's banking relationships and corporate accounting system upgrade.
Bryant then co-founded MateriaLink.com, Inc., where they held the position of Co-Founder and CFO. In this role, they provided executive leadership, negotiated and managed equity and debt offerings, and oversaw external relationships.
Wong later joined PwC, starting as a Finance Director and eventually becoming the Director of PwC Process Improvement/Continuous Improvement/Lean Team. Bryant managed the day-to-day operations of PwC's Client Account Administrator Group, hired and trained staff, and oversaw various functional responsibilities.
Currently, Wong is the Chief Financial Officer at Sciton, where they provide financial leadership to the medical device company. Sciton, located in Palo Alto, California, specializes in advanced laser and light sources for medical professionals.
Bryant Wong has a diverse education history. Bryant obtained a Diploma from Aragon High School in 1985. In 1988, they earned a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. In 1996, they completed an MBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame. In 2005, they obtained a certificate in Executive Leadership from Cornell University. Furthermore, in 2009, Bryant pursued Executive Education at Harvard Business School, specializing in Leading Professional Service Firms. Bryant also engaged in coursework in Business and Liberal Arts at Harvard University in 1989, as well as Economics and Political Science at Columbia University in 1987. Overall, their education encompasses a range of fields and institutions.
