Jim McNeely has over 40 years of work experience, starting their career as a research intern at Battelle Energy and Environmental Technologies Department. Jim then worked as a researcher and research scientist in Battelle's Chem-Bio Defense (CBD) and WMD Research Group, specializing in chemical and biological defense. McNeely went on to serve as the Deputy Director and later as the Director of the Chemical and Biological Defense Information Analysis Center (CBIAC). Jim also served as the Director of Battelle's Edgewood Operations, where they focused on providing support for the development of countermeasures to weapons of mass destruction. McNeely held various leadership roles at Battelle, including Vice President and Director of Battelle's Maryland Regional Operations and Vice President and Manager of Battelle National Security Division (NSD) Systems Analysis & Engineering. Jim then became the Vice President and Leader of Battelle National Security Global Business (NSGB) CBRN Strategy and oversaw the development of Battelle's Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) line of business. Most recently, McNeely worked as the Senior Capture Manager at SURVICE Engineering. Currently, they are the Executive Vice President (EVP) for Corporate Growth at SciTech Services, Inc.
Jim McNeely completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemical Engineering from The Ohio State University in 1982. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Mathematics from Denison University in 1979. Jim attended University School from 1971 to 1975. In terms of higher education, Jim completed over half of the requirements for a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science at Loyola University Maryland starting in 1991. Jim McNeely does not have any additional certifications at this time.
