Arun Sood is the founder and CEO of SCIT Labs. Arun has over 25 years of experience in IT consulting, and has been an owner of Task Technologies Ltd since 1990. Arun has also worked as an associate professor at George Mason University and Wayne State University. From 1972 to 1980, they were the head of the Business Strategies Department at Engineers India Ltd. Their last position there was advising the EIL Chairman and Managing Director on corporate, organizational, and marketing issues. Prior to that, they worked as a technical staff member in the Systems and Controls Division at Gulf Research and Development Company from 1967 to 1970. There, they developed digital and analog systems in support of geophysical research. Arun modeled several gas and chemical processes, including optimization of the gas distribution networks and systems to identify parameters of models used to describe chemical processes.

Arun Sood has a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. Arun also has a Master of Science (MS) in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. Arun has a B Tech in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
