Trevor Desousa has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Trevor started their career as an Endocrinological Research Associate at the University of Pittsburgh in 2018, where they worked until 2020. Following this, they worked as a Pharmaceutical Representative at Ortho Dermatologics from 2019 to 2020. In 2020, Trevor joined Myriad Genetics as a Clinical Rheumatology Liaison, and they held this position until 2021. Trevor then transitioned to Labcorp in 2021, where they served as a Rheumatology SDE, focusing on the development of diagnostic tools and assays for rheumatology. Currently, Trevor is working as an Account Executive at Scipher Medicine, starting in 2022.

Trevor Desousa completed their education in a chronological manner. From 2009 to 2012, they attended the University of South Carolina, where they studied business. Following this, from 2016 to 2018, Trevor enrolled at the University of Pittsburgh and earned a Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. In addition to their academic qualifications, Trevor obtained a Certification in Emergency Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh in December 2018.
