Paulo Favaro is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in management and technical roles within the analytical instrumentation field. Currently serving as the Advanced Projects & Custom Solutions Manager at SCION Instruments since March 2022, Paulo leads a team focused on designing customized instrument configurations and collaborates on product development with R&D and Product Managers. Prior to this role, Paulo was the Service Manager at SCION Instruments, overseeing the service team in the EMEA region. From September 2018 to March 2022, Paulo worked at Envicontrol (ENVITEC NV) as the Operational Manager, managing the Dutch office and leading the analytical laboratory and maintenance services. Paulo also held the position of Sales Engineer for the Netherlands and Belgium earlier in the career. Academically, Paulo holds a PhD in Metrology from Delft University of Technology, a Master's degree from the University of São Paulo in Brazil, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from University Methodist of Piracicaba (UNIMEP).
