Amir Avnit, Ph.D., serves as the Lead Data Scientist at Consumer Physics, Inc. since January 2024. Previously, Amir held roles as a Research Scientist and Software Engineer at Autonomous Healthcare, where significant contributions included developing machine learning systems for real-time monitoring in clinical environments and implementing fraud detection systems on cloud platforms. Amir's experience also spans work as a Data Scientist at Data Science Group, predicting product quality failures and creating deep learning NLP models. Academic roots include a Ph.D. in Life Sciences with a focus on Neuroscience, as well as degrees in Experimental Psychology and Psychology from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Throughout the academic and professional journey, Amir has collaborated on scientific papers and patent applications, demonstrating a strong foundation in machine learning, data analysis, and computational neuroscience.
