Gang An has a diverse and extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Gang currently holds the position of Vice President and Head of Biologic Therapeutics at SciNeuro Pharmaceuticals since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Vice President and Head of Antibody Discovery at Abpro from February 2020 to December 2021. From April 2018 to January 2020, they served as the Vice President of Digital Biology R&D at iCarbonX.

Before that, Gang An worked as the Senior Director of Immunomics R&D at HealthTell from May 2017 to March 2018. Gang also has a significant tenure at GSK, where they held various positions including Director, Associate Director, and Investigator from 2000 to 2017. At GSK, they led several departments and projects related to protein and antibody engineering, drug discovery, and assay development. Prior to joining GSK, Gang An was a Group Leader and Senior Scientist at UroCor, Inc. from 1994 to 1999.

Gang An holds a PhD in Molecular Genetics from the University of California, Davis, and has completed a PostDoc in Neurobiology and Neurosciences at Baylor College of Medicine. Prior to that, Gang An earned an MS in Cell Biology and a Bachelor's Degree in Genetics from Xiamen University.
