Josh Wilson began their work experience in 2011 as a Graduate Research Assistant at Texas A&M University until 2013. Josh then transitioned to Scientific Drilling, starting as a Drilling Applications Engineer in 2013 and progressing to roles such as Technical Advisor, Manager of Operations Engineering, and finally Director of Operations Engineering & Data Strategy in 2022.

Josh Wilson completed their Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from Texas A&M University in 2011. Josh then pursued a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the same university from 2011 to 2013. Subsequently, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University from 2015 to 2017. In 2013, they also obtained the Safeland/Safegulf certification from PEC Premier Safety LLC. Additionally, in 2019, they completed the High Angle, Complex Well, & Extended Reach Drilling Operations Course at Merlin ERD Ltd.
