Bryce Verhaeghe has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Bryce began their career in 1995 as a Switch Technician at Alltel Wireless. In 2005, they joined U.S. Cellular as a Network Field Engineer, where they performed various tasks such as turn up, maintenance, and repair of Nortel Metrocell base stations. Bryce also optimized, maintained, and installed microwave radios and served as the Clinton MTSO SME for the administration of Nortel Alarming Data fill. In 2018, Verhaeghe became a Core Network Engineer at U.S. Cellular, responsible for network operations and management. Bryce was later promoted to Senior Network Switch Engineer, leading regional deployments of 4G LTE and specializing in ALU 7705 router integrations. In November 2020, they joined Scientel Solutions as a Network Operations Engineer III.
Bryce Verhaeghe completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology with a specialization in Security from Colorado Technical University, where they studied from 2016 to 2020. In addition to their degree, Bryce has obtained several certifications in the field of network security. These include Avigilon Control Center 7 Certification from Avigilon in October 2022, Nokia Network Routing Specialist I (NRS) from Nokia in September 2022, NSE4_FGT-7.0: Fortinet NSE 4 - FortiOS 7.0 from Fortinet in November 2022, NSE 3 Network Security Associate from Fortinet in April 2022, NSE 2 Network Security Associate from Fortinet in February 2022, and NSE 1 Network Security Associate from Fortinet in January 2022.
