Yakov Blumenstein is a seasoned professional in the biomedical field with extensive experience in sales, business development, and laboratory management. Currently serving as Sales & Business Development Manager and Application Scientist at SCIENION, Yakov also holds the position of Senior Biomedical System Engineer at Picodya and is the Owner & Managing Director of YB Consulting, providing consulting services for diagnostic product development. Previous roles include Senior Lab Manager at NIBN and Director of Laboratory Operations at ImmunArray Ltd., where Yakov led the development of microarray products. Yakov's background includes a strong foundation in research and development gained from positions at Procognia, Tel Aviv University, and the Weizmann Institute of Science. Educationally, Yakov holds a Ph.D. and M.Sc. from Tel Aviv University as well as early medical studies in Moldova.
