Charles Clark serves as Executive Vice President and Advisory Board Member at ScienceCast.org, Chief Research Scientist at Aspen Quantum Consulting, and is a member of the International Advisory Board for Taiwan Neutron Science at the Institute of Nuclear Energy Research. For over three decades, Charles has been affiliated with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) as a Fellow Emeritus, conducting research in ultracold atomic, molecular, optical, and neutron physics. Additionally, Charles is a member of the Governing Board of the Centre for Quantum Technologies, an instructor on Coursera for "Exploring Quantum Physics", and a Visiting Scholar at the National University of Singapore. Charles's academic involvement includes teaching at the University of Maryland at College Park and previous affiliations with the Joint Quantum Institute and Merton College, Oxford. Charles holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Chicago and has earned degrees in Physics and Mathematics from Western Washington University and the University of Washington.
