George Cheng

George Cheng is an accomplished undergraduate researcher currently involved at the MIT Sloan School of Management and the MIT Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research, working under noted professors Kerry Siani and Robert Langer. As the founder and CEO of Stemable, George aims to enhance STEM education for underprivileged children by providing instructional resources and volunteer tutoring. Previous experiences include roles as an AI researcher at Westlake University, an AI intern at NATURAL STATE, and a student researcher at Wolfram, where skills in AI and computational algorithms were developed. George’s research background also encompasses scientific roles at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and North Carolina State University, as well as participation in the World Science Scholars program through the World Science Festival. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Finance from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, supplemented by studies at North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics and an Associate degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Wake Technical Community College.
