Jasmin Gainey has a long work history in the Human Resources field. Jasmin began their career in 2005 as an Intern - Human Resources at Oklahoma Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services. Later that year, they became Human Resources Assistant at Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department. In 2007, they moved to Oklahoma Health Care Authority as Senior Human Resources Coordinator. In 2013, they were promoted to Human Resources Manager at GlobalHealth Holdings LLC. Finally, in 2016, they were promoted to Human Resources Director at Science Museum Oklahoma.

Jasmin Gainey obtained their Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Oklahoma in 2003. Jasmin then went on to earn their Master's degree in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma in 2005. Additionally, they hold two certifications: Certified Personnel Professional from Human Capital Management and PHR from HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
