Andrew Tran is a skilled astrophysics researcher and educator with a strong background in academic and practical applications of physics. Serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Georgia since October 2019, Andrew has made significant contributions to projects on stellar flare activity and angular momentum evolution of NYMG stars. Additionally, experience as a Peer Tutor at Science Guyz, LLC, and as the Founder of Astrophysics Feed showcases a commitment to science communication and education. Andrew's internship with the Space Telescope Science Institute involved studying the impact of diffuse ionized gas on galaxies, while participation in NASA's L'SPACE programs focused on mission concept development and proposal writing. With a Bachelor of Science in Astrophysics and currently pursuing a Master of Science in Physics, Andrew demonstrates a dedication to advancing knowledge in space science.
